Bethesda-S.T.A.L.K.E.R.Rumor Resurfaces, But No One’s Talking
In April, we fielded a rather confusing rumor that involved game developer Sergei Girgorovich supposedly telling a Russian news outlet that he had sold the rights to his development team’s acclaimed post-nuclear-apocalypse-horror-first-person-shooter series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., to Bethesda, the people who brought us the acclaimed post-apocalyptic first-person role-playing game Fallout 3. But a Bethesda rep no-commented and the official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Facebook page said that Girgorovich “has not sold the IP rights to anyone.”
12 NEW CHALLENGERS APPROACH STREET FIGHTER X TEKKEN
New DLC for Capcom’s Street Fighter X Tekken is now available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. For $19.99, or 1600 Microsoft Points, the DLC adds 12 new playable characters, bringing the line-up to 50 playable characters total.
The newly-added characters are: (from the Street Fighter) Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy, Sakura; and (from Tekken) Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson, Lei Wulong.

EA announces Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel
EA has today Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel is currently in development at Visceral Games for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
REVERSIBLE BOX ARTS FOR TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2 REVEALED
Namco Bandai has revealed today the official (and reversible!) box arts for the upcoming Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The North American box art will feature Heihachi and Jin, and will also feature Anna and Nina Williams on the reverse side.
As a bonus, the Latin American box art was also revealed. On one side, the Mexican wrestler, King, and Brazilian Capoeira master, Eddy Gordo are featured. On the reverse side, Christie Monteiro and Tekken newcomer, Jaycee, are featured.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available on September 10 worldwide on the PS3 and Xbox 360. A Wii U version will also be released Winter 2012.
